The location is perfect for exploring the area, with parks nearby providing a great space for jogging. The room had good amenities, including a cozy desk and a nice, spacious bathroom.

Rooms can get quite warm, especially with no air conditioning during my winter stay. opening the window next to a busy six-lane road isn't ideal. The bed could use a firmer mattress for better sleep quality, and the internet connection faltered at times, limiting heavy usage.

The Baseler Hof offers an excellent location in the city center, making it convenient for accessing key attractions such as the Alster and shopping district. My room was spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and good shower facilities. The staff were extremely helpful, providing a complimentary Hamburg travel pass upon arrival that greatly enhanced my visit. Additionally, I appreciated the nice breakfast offerings and the charm of the hotel's interior.

i was almost convinced to give a good review, but then i noticed the flimsy walls, as i could hear my neighbors cough and sneeze. also, no flexible refund for my last night even tho i couldn’t stay. i wasn’t offered any complimentary gesture either, which is just rude for a four-star place like this.

Solo traveler accommodation with character

I really enjoyed the small rooftop terrace with a bar, offering nice views, and I felt welcomed by the staff who handed us a free travel card for public transport right at check-in.

The cost was a bit hefty, though still reasonable for what I got.

The location is superb and the suite was spacious, complete with a stunning view and excellent bathroom amenities. Staff were helpful, even providing umbrellas for the rain.
